Hello, I\u2019m Ophelia Baxter \u2013 Welcome to My Little Corner of the Internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, here we are. After years of hovering on the edge of writing a blog, I\u2019ve finally taken the plunge\u2014and I couldn\u2019t be more excited (and a tiny bit nervous) to introduce myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My name is Ophelia Baxter. I\u2019m a forty-something mum originally from the bustling heart of London, now living a much quieter (and muddier) life in the countryside. I share this life with my brilliant husband, our wonderful son, three mischievous cats, and a dog who thinks she\u2019s the head of the household. Spoiler: she might be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Life out here moves at a slower pace\u2014but don\u2019t let that fool you. Between raising a growing boy, wrangling pets, and keeping up with the never-ending to-do list of family life, there\u2019s rarely a dull moment. I\u2019ve traded in the city lights for starry skies, and along the way, I\u2019ve found a deep love for nature, cozy moments, and the joy that comes from simplicity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spring has sprung!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This blog is a space for all the beautiful, messy, funny, and heartfelt bits of life. A place to share stories, reflect on motherhood, explore the changing rhythms of life as we grow, and connect with others who might find a piece of themselves here, too. I\u2019m not here to pretend I have it all figured out\u2014far from it. But I believe in finding beauty in the chaos, humour in the hard days, and magic in the little things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So whether you\u2019re a fellow parent, a country dweller, a city soul longing for fresh air, or just someone stumbling upon these words\u2014I\u2019m so glad you\u2019re here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
